From what I saw on the news the police had "neutralized" the shooter within 30 seconds of the crazy man opening fire. Tragic that so many lost their lives but it could have been much, MUCH worse had the police not responded so quickly. The video I saw showed people running away and three cops moving towards the shooter and firing.
