Port A Bot Ferry Accident

I saw that a little earlier. I wonder if there was a barge or something on the other side that made the Captain squeeze so close.

I've been kayak fishing in the Lighthouse Lakes when something similar to that ship was going back out. It's insane how one minute I'm floating in 3' and in a matter of seconds the water gets sucked out and I'm sitting on top of oysters only to have a mini tsunami come rushing back in.

What exactly happened in that video? I’m watching in my iPhone and can’t really tell

I used to fish the back lakes of Arkansas Pass wildlife refuge and it’s like you describe, when those ships pass by on the intercoastal those lakes drain, that water moving sure helped turn the fishing on. Had a few up close and personal interactions with alligators back up in there

If corpus wants to be a big boy port, the port authority better get their sh!t together.

I wonder if the surge was big enough to wash over the jetties. They are always packed with people.
