We should’ve won by a good bit more. A combination of boneheaded mistakes and the refs taking the game into their own hands at times made this one look closer than it should’ve been. Onward we go now!
Some things to work on and some things to praise. Overall we’re a resilient team and we should be able to beat any team in the country if we play up to our potential, it’s just a matter of putting it all together consistently. Gotta clean up the bs penalties though. We can’t beat ourselves and expect to make a deep run.
Quinn looked like a much better version of himself today. I’m pleased with his performance overall but there’s still plenty to work on. The batted balls are a concern at this point, to say the least. Still held onto the ball a bit too long occasionally but also made a few elite throws/reads, and did a much better job in the pocket overall.
A win is a win, and this Vandy squad is pretty decent, so I’ll take it. Hook ‘em🤘
