Unless, like me, you hate yourself and want to watch Shaka go for his seventh loss in seven tries against Adidas, er, Kansas University this evening, as the 10-6 Longhorns and their runaway clown car of an offense head to Lawrence for another nationally televised display of basketball malpractice.

If we were a competently coached team, I might draw some optimism from KU's loss of Udoka Azubuike for the season, but, alas, we aren't.

Runaway clown car of an offense------

Somebody gif me that black and white of that dude in a tux giving a standing ovation.

I think I may take Kansas and give the points

Hard call with Shaka’s teams, since these games usually come in one of two flavors: (1) thermonuclear annihilation, or, more often (2) team shows fleeting glimpses of potential that enrage rather than encourage (given their complete absence for much of the season) and generally plays over its head as the underdog — perhaps even leading significantly at some point — only for some moronic late-game coaching and/or player decisions to seal the close loss in the end.

Good luck to you, sir.

Can we just drive the freaking ball and be physical for a change. Damn

I go to grab a beer and I get back and we are down eight points.

Anybody else watching this and going "waiting for our dry spell to hit"?

We aren't getting rewarded with foul calls when we go down low. I hope the refs call it the same both ways.

Can we end it at half? This is the weakest Kansas team I’ve seen in a while.

Fitting end to a pitiful half for Febres. Excellent job by most of the rest of the team so far.

Three missed layups for DO. Good God. This team always manages to find some way to f*ck itself.

We just aren't physical enough. If we are going to lose, might as well let the opponent feel it a little or let them 2nd guess each time they go to the paint. I can't remember who would call Mack Brown "Marshmallow Mack" because he was so soft. Shaka looks to be worthy of this moniker.

They called a to with 8 seconds to call a play that was terribly executed. Watching that play was just plain sad.

Terribly executed by our senior captain....
D.O. should never see the floor at Texas. There is a reason he went to Tulane. There is a huge, and I man UGE difference when Hayes is on the floor to when DO is on the floor. The ball movement sucks and it always stops at DO. He isn't strong enough to handle it down low and isn't quick enough to handle it outside. That game was infuriating to watch

For some people it's all about a process and results be damned. Shaka believes in his process..... and the results suck..... but but but the process. We have to get away from this type of thinking. It's all about results.

Are you talking about Shaka or Jason Garrett? They seem to be cut from the same cloth, process this process that. I agree, it's all about the results.

You don't just walk into Lawrence Kansas and............. Oh wait----

We had every chance to win that game.

Shaka and has fake havoc. I wonder why he went away from it. Was it in the contract he couldn't bring havoc with him from little vcu?
