this is for a family friend in Tx who is rather quirky and does not like lawyers. something happened before I was born and he’s just a little odd, maybe a little slow but he’s been able to take care of himself his entire life without any help.

he wants to hand write a will and I know that’s legal in Texas. he doesn’t have many assets and is leaving everything to a close friend of his.

1. what needs to be included in his text
2. does it need to be notarized (I’m thinking yes but one never knows)

Yes, I know it’s better with an attorney but this is out of my hands. Thanks
