With the success that we’ve had with Texas Football, and the replacement of David Pierce who had some success as baseball coach going to Omaha on a few occasions, does Terry come back next year if we don’t make the NCAA Tourney? The shine of the new Moody Center has been wasted with this turd of a Coach. In the meantime, our rival A&M have leaped ahead of us in basketball with a nice hire. Our former coaches Rick Barnes has Tennessee currently #1 and Chris Beard has ole Miss at 14-2 and tied for the SEC lead, meanwhile we are 0-3 in SEC play and the UT product looks offensively like a YMCA 5th grade basketball team.
Again, the standard now has been set for UT Athletics. The back to back trips to the CFP, hiring of Schlossnagle as Baseball Coach to replace a baseball coach that had been to the CWS, just getting to the Tourney and getting out of the 1st round CANNOT be the standard for our Basketball Program and call it a success.
Surely we don’t have to go thru another year of this? Surely CDC has seen enough to know that he is going to have to eventually let this coach go whether after this season or eventually and might as well let the rebuild take place sooner than later?
