The surprise team this year? The Pac XII. It's sad they're going to dissolve in a couple of years but they're going out with a bang.

tOSU is not what we think they are. A good defense can slow down their offense. In fact they only scored 3 points in the second half.

And over the last 2 years their defense has shown they can't stop a good running game. Now that I think about it they haven't stopped anyone with a good offense they barely beat UT in the RB.

The Big X is a lopsided conference it's MI, tOSU, and everyone else. The buckeyes we're not challenged this year and didn't play anyone that was any good and yes that includes PS

And in the second half they fell apart.

Some of the best games of the year were this past weekend.

NC/NCS and even though both teams weren't ranked

OK/TT was another

I had a hunch a&m would beat LSU I've never been on the Brian Kelly bandwagon.

If TCU makes the playoffs I'm going to be pissed.

You mean the AnM moneyline? Yes. I don't really put much money down. But that game helped an otherwise pretty shitty week of betting. Some really tough beats, backdoor covers and wrong side of some 1/2 points. Oh well.

Texas finished regular season with top 30 scoring offense (21) and defense (29). It’s been a long time since they’ve been this solid on both sides. If you can’t see that Sark’s building a healthy program, that's on you. Time to go get another top 5 class!

IT Notes:

• Expect 6-8 portal entries before the bowl game.
• there’s going to be a “surprise” portal entry that has played this year and would’ve played next year. IT thinks we can replace or even upgrade.

Apparently there were only 3 holding penalties called against UT and OU opponents in 24 total games. Something ain't right. I can’t wait to get out of this conference

The same crew that did the Baylor game did the ok state game. In 8 quarters of football 20 penalties called oh Texas 1 on ok state/Baylor. It was the defensive delay of game. The only non Texas penalty called against either team by that crew.

I’m almost glad we didn’t make the conference championship game. The screwing we would of taken to make sure we didn’t win would of been one for the books.

And that preseason top 20 ranking proved to be pretty accurate if we are being honest. We are sitting at 21 today in the AP poll.

Because their defense was so awful they didn't have to.

So "you're saying" if Baylor played two games with the same ref crew and that ref crew called penalties 20-1 in favor of the other team you'd just go along with it?

Actually our team has dramatically cut down on penalties since Sarkisian had been here.

I mean when Herman was here we killed ourselves with penalties.

We did seem more disciplined later in the year, especially on defense. False starts still killed us.
