ISU finished last but the worst team was OSU.

The low point was the TCU game.

If I could take one game back it would be TT.

I think our best game was AL. We lost but we gave tremendous effort.

After 12 years of an ol that steadily got worse we finally have an ol with a promising future. And we had 4 true fros. and soph starting.

And that for me is the reason why I consider it our biggest strength

Kyle Flood is worth the money. He's gonna make an AA, first round draft pick out of Kelvin Banks.

Actually I think our staff did a great job this year.

Some people on here have Gary Patterson on the brain.

But this is coach K's defense. He's gonna get our guys drafted in the first round and others will play in the NFL.

His resume is full of it.

The defense played great this year.

Jaylin Ford is without question the defensive MVP.

Their spiritual leader was Anthony Cook.

Our offensive MVP was Bijan but Roschon was a close second.

Without question he's the team leader.

The coaches should order carrot top not to cut his hair. I mean that that thing is wild.

Word around the campfire is that we'll play ND in the Orlando bowl.

But it wouldn't be an off season in Austin without a qb controversy.

Which players entering the transfer portal will be missed the most? Hate to lose any, but if they're not happy wearing burnt orange, it's understood.
Can't wait to see who we pick up in the portal.🤘

How was OSU the worst team? Beat UT. Blew it against OU, KU and KState. But still 7-5. Better than OU or Baylor who were rated higher in the preseason. So everyone missed on TCU and KState to a lesser extent. Tough conference this year. And Campbell coming in last. Weird.

At the end of the season OSU lost 4 of their last 5 games. And the one game they did win (ISU) they got lucky.

All 4 losses were embarrassing. They should have come back to beat OK but kept tripping over themselves. They finally losing at home to a bad WV team.

They went 2-5 in their last 7 games with losses to West Virginia and Kansas. I would say they were probably one of the worst teams in the conference by seasons end.

Hudson Standish gas:

  • Feels very confident in his Anthony Hill CB. National powers are trying to delay his commitment and signing to take visits. A&M win over LSU changed nothing, thinks A&M is out of it.
  • Says there’s a near consensus that Worthy is returning. Nothing is finalized, but they’re extremely optimistic that both Ford and Watts will also return.
  • Always cautious with Barron because of the Oregon stuff last year, but believes he’ll be back and will get a nice $$$ bump.
  • Hears that Barry Odom may be getting the job at Tulsa, meaning Marion should be staying.
Brakes:

  • Would be stunned if Whitt returns

I thought the low point was the Tech game. The TCU game was also a low point, but in a way, it proved valuable in that Sark learned it was on him, not his players. Notice how his play calling changed. His Raiders style long ball has been a problem since last year and it took this year's TCU game for him to learn that.

Coach K: You are giving him credit he doesn't deserve. I want him to succeed in a.major way, I really do. But, after last year's debacle, it isn't a coincidence that Patterson and a legit defense is what we witnessed this season. PK had pretty much an all 4* player team last year and ended 100th out of 130th team defense rank. Funny how Dykes/Gillespie did a one year turn around with players on average ranked below Texas's players. Yet, we are gas lighted to believe that our 4*/5* are bad, but other team's 4*/5* are great.

I agree about Jaylin Ford.

OSU would have been 10-2, 9-3 ish if Sanders wasn't hurt. Things went downhill because 2nd & 3rd string (Gundy's kid) were horrible.

The one bad game was last against WV. Really clear shot to win at the end of the game. What the hell was Gundy thinking? That one is on him.

I’ve been PK’s biggest critic but the way the defense progressed over the year is something I did not see coming. They finished 21st in scoring defense in the country. That should have been good enough for this team to win 11 games this year.

You can give Patterson credit but did you forget how bad those TCU defenses were his last 3 seasons? It was a collaborative effort. We have a great core of guys coming back on defense next year so I think they take an even bigger jump.

Sanders played in the OU game and was awful. I don’t think their record is any different if he played.
