My issue with this, it was not the def coaches responsibility to call for a time out before the missed fg. Or perhaps trying to decline a penalty that would have given okc a fd. During games, charlie seems to just zone out.

PR control. Belmont is smarter than that. They aren't going to come out and say "ya, charlie is coaching for his job......". That is a public relations mess and screws with recruiting. You won't know that Charlie is getting fired until after it happens.
