I’ve lived in Austin my entire life. Recently the Mrs. (from Nam of course) and I have entertained the idea of moving to Houston, and more recently we’ve been entertaining the idea of moving to San Antonio. I think as of now we’ve moved on from Houston as an option and have zeroed in on San Antonio as our new home base.
I know we have plenty of OBs who live in SA and I’m sure can give recs. To those folks and others who have lived there previously, what are the best parts of SA to raise a family in? We currently have a 2 year old and plan on adding at least one more kid to the mix in the next couple years (humble brag), so we’d like to be in a spot that’s got plenty to do around us, as well as good schools etc.
I appreciate any and all recommendations! We looove Austin and hate to leave it behind, but the bang for your buck right now between Austin and SA when it comes to home buying is incomparable. And SA truly isn’t all that far from Austin, so we could visit often which is ideal for us. We like the hill country-like areas of SA, so any recommendations in that area would be extra appreciated.
