Red Zone is Sark’s/Quinn’s weak spot

Tough loss. After the first drive, I think we outplayed them but we clearly did not win the big play department.

Ohio State clearly schemed to not give up the big play and beat us in the red zone. When we got inside their 40, they just lined up and played differently. We made some nice adjustments by throwing to the RBs and letting them beat their guy.

Bottom line: Quinn Ewers is not a plus player inside the red zone, especially when compared to the rest of his play. If you had a good red zone scheme, you don’t run that play on 2nd and 1. This is not an emotional statement. We have two solid years of history to show that. Our TD percentage inside the 20 is not national championship worthy.

I think Arch Manning is a plus player inside the red zone. So I optimistic about our future.
