Bobby Deren from the Rutgers site for Rivals is hearing that Rutgers OC Drew Mehringer will be added to the UT staff in an assistant coaching capacity (not OC). Here's what Deren is reporting on their site:
"Received word that Drew Mehringer is going to take an assistant coaching job at Texas. He spoke with Ash about it this morning and is on his way to Texas now. Nothing has been signed but it looks like Rutgers is going to need to find another OC."
