So unpredictable (this team). We can’t run the ball or block. Our pass rush and pass defense is suspect. Often, we come out flat in the first and third quarters.
This team does nothing consistently great except punt far. Therefore, we have no easy wins.
Defense plays great......but no offensive identity. I understand the line is in shambles but a lot of this has to be put on the offensive coordinator. Maybe Ehlinger doesn't have the time to throw down field but I believe you have to go over the top a few times (even if they go incomplete) just to keep the defense honest. Hey but I'm not an offensive coordinator so what do I know
I just do not have any good feeling with this team. I flash back to the OU Baylor game and if that Baylor team shows up we are in trouble. I don't care what our O line problems are...we are 7 games in and it looks as bad as day 1. There should have been some progress with it but here we are.
Gonna have to plug the holes in the dam this week.... plenty of reasons to quit but Baylor isn't one of them.
IF we play for the rest of the season as hard as we played today and last week, we should finish 7-5 with our only loss at TCU. None of the other teams are better than USC/OU/OkSt. I'm worried about fatigue, loss of intensity, lack of focus.

Penalties are killing drives and drops also today. Defense was awsome only give up one td to #1 offense in the country.
Good teams improve as the season moves on,The teams in this conference score points and if you cannot match you will get your ass beat again.
I have to stop thinking about how good we would be if we just had an average offense . . . because I think it will make go mad.

I don't think this says Baylor is good. I think it shows that both of their defenses are beatable. If we play decent offense we should be able to score points against both Baylor and WVU, and if our defense plays as they did today, we should win both of those.
We're fighting for 6-6 and a bowl appearance. We need for the defense to stay zoned in and find some O. Not opposed to going with Buechele. True freshman struggle as we've seen for the last decade.
Buechele is a sitting duck behind that OL. Sam is scrambling for his life like Colt did 2007.
Whoever said throw it deep is engaged in some wishful thinking this OL can't give the time to throw deep and teams are getting pressure with 4 man fronts and dropping everyone back since we have no run game.
