Restaurant recommendations in Austin

Grab tacos from Veracruz at the Line Hotel and then walk over to the JW corner bar for your marg. That’s a Saturday go to of ours with our baby.
As far as Margaritas go..
El Alma has imo, some of the best margaritas in town. Food is solid
Went to ATX Cocina a couple nights ago and their Margarita was solid too, also great food.
Suerte also very solid margs and fantastic Mexican food.
not sure what your target price point is, but those cover different levels.
As far as Tacos go, the above have great food, but my favorites for a taco would be food trucks or restaurants that don’t focus on margaritas such as Discada, Rositas Al Pastor, Nixta…
There are countless other spots, too many to name. We’re spoiled.

this place kicks ass. it's a trailer with seating area.no margaritas but perhaps the best tacos in town.
I have a truck at a bar called High Noon on east Cesar Chavez. Open at 5, kids are cool til 8. They have some solid margs, not frozen ones but they are good. We have some kids items also, come on by!
Solid tacos but my truck is like half a block over, better tacos and the bar I’m at has drinks. Come by sometime
Texsueño. Different kind of tacos than Granny’s, smaller, tighter menu.
