Tomorrow marks 17 years ago that Chris was KIA in Iraq. Chris was on patrol with an Iraqi platoon and two USMC advisors when the IED critically wounded all three Marines. His last act after being mortally wounded was to call for the reaction force that saved the two SSgts. Not a day goes by that I do not think about him and so many others. I post this annually to keep his memory alive and to remind us all how fortunate we are to have such men who willingly go in harms way to defend out country. Chris paid the ultimate price for his country and brother Marines but he is not forgotten. If you have a moment and are so inclined, say a prayer for him and his family. Semper Fi
