Rockets ar pick #2. Who you want if your them?

Fertitta will probably dictate the pick and fvck it all up.

That said, Green or Mobley

you have absolutely no ****ing clue what you’re talking about.

decision will be up to the front office with input from coaches, as it always has been.

I personally want green or perhaps a trade swap w Detroit to get Cade.

Wth, another Houston team picking at the top of the draft. 😏

A crapshoot. This just isn’t a difference maker draft. Needed to be in topm6 or so but can pretty much flip a coin
Agreed, I don’t see anybody in this draft making a Luka Doncic or Trae Young type impact. Not a great year to be picking top 5 IMO, but I guess we’ll see if that’s true in the next few years.

If the rockets take Suggs over Mobley, huge mistake. Mobley is one of the best defensive bigs in the NBA draft in years.

I also think Suggs is overrated. A guard that just has an ok jumper doesn't do much for me. Good player but not #2 worthy.
If these scouts knew what they were talking about, there wouldn't be so many top 5 busts.

Big men these days always seem to break down, so I'd pass on Mobley.

I'm no expert, but whenever I watched Cunningham play, I thought he didn't have the freak athleticism to be number 1. It's possible that he's so smooth, he makes everything look effortless.

Same knock on Suggs. Not athletic enough, and he doesn't have the skills that Cunningham has.

I'd go with green at #2, but as they say opinions are like assholes...

I'd be happy with Mobley or Green. Who knows, Pistons might surprise and not pick Cunningham at #1.

I love Suggs but not at #2.

I hope Rockets nab Kai Jones or Jericho Sims at 23 and 24

Disagree. I think Cunningham or Green have that type of potential long term.

This is considered a very strong top of the draft class by virtually every expert. How they pan out, we shall see, but people are very excited about the top 4 guys.

Yeah...all the people who know agree it is a super strong top 5. Cade has Simmons w a J potential. That's MVP upside. Mobley has Bosh potential but could be a better passer. Green, Dame potential. Suggs seems like a Mike Conley type player to me...with more scoring umph. And Kuminga has an NBA body and maybe more upside (though a lower floor) than all of em. That is a loaded top 5 from a potential standpoint. Also....all those dudes averaged at least 15ppg (not sure about Kuminga) in their preNBA year on teams w some success....so the bet isn't all on potential, like an Anthony Edwards.

Sure would be nice to have Clint capela on this team. One of the biggest ****ups the rockets have made in years.

Woj said we could be open for business. Not sure what type of “young all star caliber” talent we could get in return but I’m curious.
Bet you could get Porzingis and Brunson from Dallas. Houston should call them immediately.

Could you imagine how good Luka would be with either one of those talents?
Not sure Luka could be any better than he already is, but the Mavs sure could use either player. Problem for Rockets is they don’t have Luka, and there’s only one of him.

Take Mobley and pair him with Wood. The NBA is all about the inside game these days.
Mobley and Wood are both athletic enough to defend the perimeter. Mobley can also stretch out towards the three point line. I have zero problem if we go with Mobley. Unless Detroit screws up and doesn't take Cunnigham I'd prefer Mobley. Athletic big men with natural defensive instincts and a good offensive game beyond 10 feet are extremely rare.

And if the Mavs don't surround him with Woods' or Mobleys, he might be playing for another team.

Very small if. Getting the best young player in decades happens once in decades. Adding players to him happens multiple times a year.

Well, the Rockets will have many future lotteries to add to them.

Just like the Astros will suck within a couple of years like you said a couple years ago. You're trolling has fallen off so far it isn't even entertaining any more.

You protest a little too much. The Astros are on a downward path. You can mark this.

I called the Rockets disaster. They’re going nowhere. You can mark this too.

Now, go throw your tantrum somewhere else.

The Astros are on a downward path? =)roll
Watch out everyone! The best team in the AL with bregman, Tucker, and verlander out is going down the drain!
Jesus I’ve read some stupid stuff in here - but this one gets the prize today. Hilarious!
Go Astros!

Giannis, AD and Luka all happened in the last decade...so it seems it happens multiple times in a decade

LOL. Neither of those two compares to Luka in first 3 years of career and AD doesn’t compare to him at all. Next.

Well AD has a ring and Giannis is a lot closer to one than Luka by a mile...and has 2 MVPs. Luka is using the Harden offensive model and is very good at it. He just doesn't have Harden's playoff success.

It should be Green or Suggs, Rockets have Wood so Mobley isn’t as big of a need. Green has the upside and superstar ability. Suggs is the guy that will make everyone around him better.

You pick the best prospect. If that is Mobley, you take him. If it is Green or Suggs you take them. If you work them all out and think it is Kuminga... go for it. See if they can work and if not flip the player who has the lower upside. If it were Zion or Luka or AD, I think you fit the need. With Wood, Tate and KJ Martin as your building blocks, get the best guy.
