I’ve reserved a room at the Hampton Inn in downtown Austin (on San Jacinto one block from the Four Seasons) for Thursday-Saturday next week. I now can’t use the room on Thursday, 9/5.
Due to some weird pricing scheme, if I cancel my reservation that night, the prices I will have to pay for that room on Friday and Saturday will go up substantially, but if I transfer the reservation to someone else, the prices I pay for that room on Friday and Saturday will remain the same.
Is anyone looking for a room in downtown Austin on Thursday, 9/5? The room is a studio with a king-sized bed and the price for that night is $271.84.
