Anyone still partake of Rudy's BBQ?
Ate from the Round Rock location yesterday...probably been 3-4 years since my last visit. My dear old mom wanted some quick BBQ & she was paying, so off to Rudy's I went since its close by & easy to order.
$24/lb for regular brisket...no joke.
$7 for a sausage link....links have definitely gotten smaller too.
Anyways...the brisket was cooked pretty well actually. They definitely skimped some on the salt & pepper rub. All for all it was okay & definitely edible. Still better than anything I had up in Kansas City 3 weeks ago.
The sausage sucked. I mean it was edible & decent I guess, but they have changed brands & it needed to be smoked longer.
