If I started this thread after a Cowboy's loss, you would be on here crying about how Texans fans are obsessed with the Cowboy's.

Come on, dj. I'm just poking fun at Texans fans. Same as we do when a&m loses. You're really going to say that I would twist your words "as usual"? So you're implying that I twist your words? Show me where I've ever done that. The Texans lost to a better team. They're just a bad team/organization with a losing culture. I don't think that any objective fan can dispute how disfunctional that the Texans are.
Relating fellow longhorns to anything aggy is a low blow. Yes, we all know the Texans org is an episode of Jerry Springer but it's our default Oilers replacement.NFL aggy. LMAO!

Are they a bad team? They are probably favored to win the AFC South this year. That would be their 6th division title this decade. They just lost in primetime to a team that should have been in the SuperBowl by a 58 yard field goal after their great young quarterback led them on a 3 play 96 yard touchdown drive with no timeouts.
I can live with that. I'm a Houstonian, I'm going to ride with my team through the good and the bad.

They can make the playoffs.
But their front office is sh!t.
If they had a great front office they would have made the Superbowl at minimum.

I have only seen 2 fan bases routinely go through their schedules before the season and rationalize how they were going to win all their games and play for a championship.
One is aggy and the other plays in Arlington.
Anyone on here being honest knows that's the truth.
No fan that has Jerry Jones as an owner should be criticizing other franchises for being dysfunctional.
The Texans have an incompetent ownership group, but we have never had:
A player killed in a drug deal gone bad
A player arrested in some women's apartment with a plate full of coke
A player arrested with 500 lbs of marijuana in the back of a station wagon
A player beating off in team meetings in front of teammates
A player pissing on the floor of the head coaches office

- Compares their team to the Longhorn/Cowboys and their success or lack of success.
- Is obsessed with them and can't stop talking about them.
- Tries to compare their record in selective periods of time to fit their agenda.
- Has no history of winning anything meaningful. No skins on the wall.
- Has a delusional fanbase.
- Has dysfunctional management.
- Fanbase has a delusional sense of who they are.
- Is insecure about their team.
- Next year is always their year.
- Hates for the sake of hating on a Texas institutional, transcendent team.
- Has no respect outside of B/CS and Houston
- Has no national following. Doesn't move the needle in interest.
- Has no rivals.
- Tries to minimize their national championships/Super Bowl championships.
- Tries to create a sense of importance and a rivalry.
- Has repeated, multiple failed coaching hires.
- Is the laughingstock of football.
Ummm no. Just because your circle of buds might have some bad fans doesnt mean squat. Cowboys have a much much larger following and with that comes many more bad apples. We all have them.
Dont let your personal hatred of Texans bleed over to aggy comparison when there is none. Apples to oranges.

Texans fans have every right to cheer for that team. But damn, win something and then talk. The Texans have done absolutely NOTHING in their entire existence.

As bad as the ownership in Houston and Dallas is we can top it out here in the Bay area. Jeb York, the owner of the Niners doesn't know sh*t from mayonnaise. Poor Kyle. Oh and this is a team who plays in a stadium an hour from downtown SF.

I thought it was an entertaining game with laughable defense but we all knew Texans D would be bad. Hard to get better via subtraction.

Fresh, come on, man. That's over the top. I am having a laugh at the Texans expense. My post was really about how Texans fans talk nonstop trash about the Cowboys and obsess over them. I have zero dog in this fight. I do not root for any pro football team. Not since I saw first hand what the NFL game was about and how it turned players that I knew, that LOVED the college game of football, into "me first" money grabbers concerned only with what was good for them, not for the team.
I will watch pro football for the sheer enjoyment of seeing the best athletes on the planet perform--- but root for a team?

The NFL is getting worse. I have not watched any other game besides a Cowboy game in years. Most of it is watered down boring viewing.
