Sark moving on from Andre Coleman

Looks like Brennan Marion from Pitt is someone to keep an eye on.
Yep sounds like he might be the guy. Kerry Colbert is another guy who has a long history with Sark. He just went to Florida with Napier but Choice had just went to USC, so that doesn’t mean much lol

Why didn’t we do this while recruiting was going on so maybe the replacement could possibly get some receivers ???

The secret is out. His offense isn't a secret anymore. But landing him would be nice.
His “Go Go” offense helped Pitt develop a Heisman finalist QB and the front runner to win the Biletnikoff award for nations top receiver. Good get if we can land him.

Just read that Marion is well connected in DFW and East Texas from his time at Tulsa. Experience plus recruiting chops is greater than Samples recruiting and litte experience.

Just some insights on Marion. He was a WR coach at Pitt and his Go-Go offense never saw the light of day at Pitt. He did a great job coaching the WR for Pitt. He appears to be a job jumper so not sure how long he will stay at Texas. He didn’t recruit nearly as well as Beatty did at Pitt. However, very few people recruited as well as him. If he comes here expect your receivers to be coached up very well. I wouldn’t get overly confident in his recruiting or his offensive game planning contributions.

I doubt Sark is looking to change his offense. He just needs a good coach and recruiter.

Appears Marion is in as Texas WRs started following him on social media.

I wouldn’t think Sark needed anyone to recruit WR’s. His history with QBs, WR’s and RBs should speak for itself I would think

There has to be a point man for each recruitment, Sark can't be that for 200 kids every year. Position coaches split the majority of the load.

We could start something called the 10th coach, where we pull someone out of the stands each week and get better WR coaching than we've had the last 2 years.
