I'm just curious what it should cost to set up a simple trust to avoid probate and a will in Texas. Clearlake area.
There's about $2-2.5 million in retirement accounts and 3 houses (2 in TX, 1 Nebraska) worth about $350,000 each. A few old cars to pass down. I would think pretty plain vanilla stuff since they are well below estate tax limits.
If you have any names, that would be appreciated.
The inlaws need to get their affairs in order. Despite being good on paper, the inlaws are cash poor because of financial support to my wife's two other sisters. So not try to break the bank.
