Dude makes more money than Roy Williams, if you can believe that. He made 1.5 at VCU and we went "fvck it! Double your salary and come to Texas" and then we kicked in another 100,000 annually just because we could.

$3.1 million a year puts him in the top 8 highest paid coaches in college bball. Now I will agree, dude gets us in the sweet 16 the next few years then "hell to the yes you can have another half mil a year Shaka and if you win a title we'll just throw another zero on the contract"-- But I'm in the boat that "right now" homeslice is doing just fine in the financial department.

I said the day he was hired he would make Texas care about basketball in a way it hadn't before. It's happening sooner than I thought but it is happening.
