Agree! He had talent but he was playing against teams with the same or more. My guess is he took what he learned at Texas to SMU and they made an offense that was tailored around his talent. Also my guess is the game is probably some what easier for him.Also, there was no doubt he was talented when he played at Texas; however, the system he is in now, is much more tailored to his skill set. Also, the talent level he is playing against at SMU is a smidge less than the talent level he played against at Texas.
All of that say, props to Shane for being a great teammate and doing what he thought was in his best interest and dominating. Props to him, will always be highly regarded in Longhorn circles.
