What have you seen over the last two years that makes you want to retain Charlie Strong?

Thank you for your responses.

Boyd, Burt, Davis, Elliott, D. Foreman, Hager, Hill, Jefferson, K. Johnson, Omenihu, Vahe, Warren, Wheeler, and Williams...also Joe, Bernard, Locke, Majors...

Plenty of threads on the front page can give you all the answers you need.

May as well tame your fury until next fall. He's coming back.

Joe, Bernard were Mack recruits. Locke has done something? Majors has not even played yet. But I agree there are some good players in the freshman class.

Foreman should have a pretty good year next year barring injury. No matter how good Burt, Joe, or Bernard are until Strong can hire someone that can actually develop a QB their stat line will be maxed at 20-30 catches for 300-400 yards with a TD or two mixed in.

QB is our biggest weakness and it is not close. Good post.

Strong is developing the offense pretty well everywhere except QB. He's developing better OL play, better WR play, and way better RBs. I think Foreman and Warren will be a better duo of backs than Brown and Gray ever where. Both have the explosiveness and have already shown it to create the big play which Brown and Gray both lacked. That being said without a QB you might as well stick a big glass ceiling on all of that, and unless your defense is stellar you are looking at a lot of losses.

It is possible that the right OC can come in here and do something with this offense. It's not depleted and void of talent. I don't think Strong can hire him though.

We are on the same wavelength. I agree 100% with every word. Strong has not shown good judgment in his staff hires. I think he has shown poor judgment. You have to coach to your players strengths. I do not think this staff does. I don't see any ELITE coaches on this staff.......I do not see any ELITE recruiters on this staff either.
