Not only a bad decision but he followed it up with an even WORSE decision giving him a second year. I look at all the evidence why Charlie has gotten a bad break (and there are TONS) the single most impactful FU is simply entrusting his career and start at Texas to a weak OC. It will prove to be the single worse decision possible and oddly, almost every fan in the Orangeblood universe KNEW IT ON DAY ONE!

I for the life of me can't see how this guy didn't know the magnitude of the moment the first time....but to double down heading into year 2 makes this a quagmire that even the best/elite HC might not get out of and sadly Charlie isn't one of those.

Honestly I would not be stunned if he just walked away after BU.....cuz it's very unlikely to end well for him

I realize it's just another post in the same argument but it's the foundation of his failure.
