Strange-I don’t think anyone on here said this was supposed to be the year. It’s year one of a new regime. Grab a fishing line, load the boys into the boat, fill the cooler with Shiner, and hit the water. Your day, and all of ours will come soon enough.

I’m afraid if you thought this was the year your expectations were shot from the get go. There isn’t a single person who thought we would run the table this year. A 9-3 or better finish and chance to play in the CCG would still be a success for Sark’s first season.

Looking at next years class this staff is well aware that our weakness on both sides of the ball is in the trenches. These coaches can only work with what they got and with Herman’s inability to recruit the offensive line is showing up this year.

We've been waiting since Earl graduated, the one exception being 2005 when we had a freakish QB that took the horrible calls of GDGD and turned them into winners.

I guess its one of those things, doesn't make sense to me if ya got the talent in the backfield they can't do their stuff without blocking, seems like ya could get someone..Pop Snyder did..its just crazy...seems like the oline before ya can run...

What had Mack Brown won when he landed in Austin in 98? Sark is working with Herman’s scraps at this point. Until he gets a class or 2 in here I’ll reserve my judgment.

Could very well end up just like Strong and Herman, but I’ll reserve judgment for a year or 2.

He doesn't have that much time. Two more losing seasons and his classes won't matter. He better learn to build through the portal or he toast.

With the portal, every year should be the year. If not, the coach will be on the hot seat from the first loss onward.

Our next coach needs to have extensive experience in the portal and proven success using it. Chris Beard is our bar. Anything less is a disappointment.
