As I was writing the War Room yesterday and the conversation of whether Herman's chances of getting the job if Strong is fired were being discussed via text messages, one very high-level source offered me some advice.
"Don't paint yourself into a corner," the source said about the subject of the now infamous red-flag.
As I've thought about that warning today, it might be the best sign for those wanting change. Whenever this source has sensed that a too rigid of a position was building about anything in the past, it's proven to be sage advice.
The best example of the fluidity of this moment in time might have been this person making sure that I didn't go too far in proclaiming that the door was closed. If it was closed, he would have told me it was closed. Instead, he was warning to report the door was most definitely cracked instead of closed.
Just me thinking out loud.
