The fiscal season in the NCAA seems to end at the end of June after the CWS ends.
Look at what's happened the at the end of June the last 2 years. TX and OK announced they were leaving for the SEC. Last year SC and UCLA said they were leaving for the Big X.
In a couple of weeks well get news that will be the beginning of the end for the Pac XII. I think WA and OR will jump to the Big X. Whether they take their little brothers with them remains to be seen.
It's not a secret that Big XII commissioner Bret Yormans has his eye on the corner states schools he'll get them.
I'm not sure where ST and Cal will go. It wouldn't surprise me if ST goes independent.
Why money of course. Larry Scott broke the Pac XII and I suspect that George Kliavkoff is pining for a Big X job. After TX and OK announced they were leaving Bret Yormans didn't waste any time. He added 4 decent programs and the corner states schools are a good fit.
Yormans has done everything possible to save the Big XII. Scott and Kliavkoff didn't care they've taken a Big X or bust approach and let the cards fall where they may.
