I'm in San Sebastian, Basque Country, Spain for a few more days, then off to Pamplona on the way to Barcelona. I'm looking at bringing back a few decent spirits, but not real knowledgeable about what Spain has to offer other than lots of delicious red wines. I found a few bottles of Ximenez Spinola Sherry and Brandy that I'm probably going to pick up, but outside of that I don't have anything in the queue. This dry, acidic sidra/cider shit they drink here is for the birds... yuck.
