Is anybody else watching Stanford just get piss pounded by wash?

I just got home and started watching. I am more surprised at Stanford defense giving up 23 points than Stanford's offense at 0. Looks like Stanford may at least get some points before the half.

Washington is making Stanford look old and slow. Peterson can coach.

Surprised.

I'm not all that schocked. UCLA outplayed Stanford imo. Let them hang around and eventually gave it away. Washington is legit. If Texas is looking next year Peterson would be near the top. Wasn't there reports he wanted it?

I don't think there have ever been reports of Petersen to Texas even when he was at Boise. I personally was hoping for it at the time. Petersen is a Northwest man and will more than likely stay put. UCLA wanted him among others but, he wouldn't even leave Boise for that. UW was a good fit for family reasons, I think.

Yeah I mean I don't think there is any reason for him to leave unless he wants to. You can do big things at UW. Especially with USC floundering around.

Damn boys, we're talkin about a well coached football team getting their shit shoved in!

10 penalties for 95 yards

6 points through 3 quarters and 197 yards of offense.

Correct me if I'm wrong-- isn't this Peterson's second year at UW?

Freaking UW is ranked in the top 10 after 2 years under a new coach. Must be nice.

Actually it's his third. And he inherited a different culture than CS.

We have no clue how good Stanford is and so far Washington has played Rutgers, Idaho, Portland State and Arizona. Stanford hasn't looked good in any of their games.

Washington has ZERO freshmen starters and I believe most of the 5 or 6 sophomores on O and D are Redshirts/3 years.

They were 7-6 last season

Wash '16 OL-3 upperclassmen. UTs projected '17 OL-3 upperclassnen. Wash '16 QB-soph. UT '17 QB-soph. Wash '16 def-8 Jr/sr. UT '16 def-8+

Washington moves to 5-0 for the first time in 24 years!

Washington won a top-10 matchup for the first time since beating Michigan in the Rose Bowl 25 years ago

Washington recruiting classes the last 2 yrs, 28 and 29th.
We were 9 and 10 !
Coaching matters !
I guess that's the different culture OUinCali was referring to above. Pesky facts, always getting in the way. The bottom line is...Peterson is a good coach and had his physically less talented squad ready to kick some butt. Coaching

You guys have to look at UW. They haven't played anyone. All Stanford do is relying on McCaffrey. He is good but it just him. Their QB is blah. WR's dropped a lot of balls. Their OL gave up 8 plus sacks. Their D is ok but they couldn't hang with the speed of UW at all. UW was prepared and pumped for the Tree Kings. I expect Stanford to get another L or 2. UW will get a L as well.

Third year and it's the PAC

Seriously? Pac is better than the Big12, so that point doesn't matter, besides didn't we just lose to a Pac team?

Recruiting matters most when you have two equally matched coaches, not when you have one coach that can't get a coin toss correct and one that has a reputation of beating blueblood programs with teams that have far less talent.

I would like to remind all of you that it's still the University of Washington........

I love Chris Peterson but dude was never coming to Texas when we were looking for a coach. It was too big a move, he had his daughter to think about and as i understand it, special concessions were made that they could bring her doctor up or bring her down to him. I don't remember the circumstances but it was a convenient setup made mostly through proximity.
