Expanding with a school like Houston would have far less impact on Texas than it would everyone else in the conference.
But some schools (Ok State, Tech, TCU, K-State, etc) are never going to favor expansion in the state of Texas because it cuts into their recruiting pool. That's the view of the coaches, anyway. But like Cassidy mentions, when push comes to shove, the coaches' opinions won't matter.
