Here's a proposal that I'm interested in hearing some opinions about.

Who could agree to this compromise?

The RW concedes gun ownership to this effect: no civilian may own any semi-auto, fully-auto, or even manually-fed cartridge/magazine fed firearms. Only weapons allowed to the average, over 18 adult citizen is a breach-loading, single-cartridge weapon. This may be a rifle or shotgun, but must be single-barrel, single-cartridge in nature. Handguns may also be allowed under the same capacity/action stipulation. Handguns may only be carried in a concealed fashion in public with the completion of an extensive gun safety and psychological evaluation, paid for entirely by the applicant. No person may own more than one handgun. No person may own more than two rifles. No migration of ownership may occur without a predefined, extensive security check of the receiver, paid for by a private party. All weapons currently owned must be turned over and will be evaluated for fair value and be paid for by the government via tax credit. These rules will allow for only basic hunting use and defense against a singular attacker.

The LW concedes abortion allowance to this effect: no abortion may be committed for purposes of convenience. Rape victims will be allowed the option of abortion within the first 5 weeks of conception. If the life of a mother is at risk, she may opt to abort the pregnancy at any time to spare her life; this will only be determined as necessary by a licensed medical doctor trained to an appropriate level. All insurance providers will be required by law to cover a reasonable level of prenatal and postnatal medical support to all women, regardless of prior medical status of the mother.

Who is game? Who would give up one for the other?
