Had the pleasure of talking with a Cuban immigrant who fled to the United States in 2002. To hear the passion in his voice when talking about how grateful he is to be here really hits home. Taking a raft in the ocean, being poor in Miami trying to feed a family, to getting a job at that makes six figures(truck figure), and for his kids to grow up with a better opportunity in the best country in the world just reminds one that what we have to a better than 99.9% of the world. It hits home. I also have the pleasure of meeting and conversing with the plenty of illegal immigrants and I would every single one of you liberals for them. They take more pride in this country than most of you.
