ok….so 4% something unemployment, yet tariffs to bring manufacturing back to USA…but that manufacturing (eventually) will be largely automated, no? maybe good for country in futute generations to have more domestic (automated) manufacturing, but the short term pain has long term consequences.
i dont know that its ever good policy to manufacture a recession in the name of something which may or may not come to pass….i wonder if any country has done this sucessfully in history.
