TCU vs ISU

Probably the best Big XII matchup this week. What should we expect from ISU? After their big win at OK they blew out KS and TT but those are the worst teams in the Big XII. Looking at the rest of their schedule with TX and OK out of the way they have TCU and OSU at home. They cracked the top 25 this week.

You look at ISU's history you know they've been mediocre forever. But after that win at OK it's fair to ask is this shaping up to be a special season for ISU or was the OK game an on any given Saturday kind of game?

They do seem to have a solid defense and they may just have a rising star at head coach. But all things considered TCU is favored, almost a prohibitive favorite. Still I will pay close attention to this game.

Playing ISU is a no win situation. They are pretty good, but everyone assumes they suck. So no credit for beating them by 90% of fans. I am struggling to say they are pretty good, but I am fairly sure they are.

Texas played the ISU QB that was the head case. The senior who replaced him has been on target. The head coach is only 37 and doing a good job. He will be hired away if they keep improving. I doubt they beat TCU but it’s possible.

Texas would have beat him too. Seems like you are trying hard to rationalize ou’s loss. Nice try.

ISU may hang around for while, but, TCUs speed on offense will make plays and pull ahead. 14 points is a good win as stated above.

The TCU defense should slow them down and the offense will put enough points on the board to winJust think TCU held kansas to a minus 31 yards rushing,46 yards passing and 4 1st downs the entire game,I know its Kansas but the TCU defense rock solid and will be tough to beat.

Ames is scary!!!!!! This game is in GP' hands and he's going to have to grind it out unless they can get up quick and maintain.


Had Texas played the current attack from ISU, I doubt they would have won.
