We all know how hard it is to win in Baton Rouge, I wonder if that game if we lose with start another season fall?I would like to see us win to give us momentum going for the rest of season, guess we will have to see what the new hires come up with, I don't like the way Tommy calls plays, so maybe that will change or not, its time to come back to Texas standards and quit messing around...

Tom ain’t gonna be calling plays, so that’s gonna change. Idk if Texas WILL win that game, but they certainly CAN win that game with the talent coming back. The experience on offense and defense is palpable. Impact players on both lines are returning. The depth and talent in the secondary will be the best in the entire country. Okafor/Imade are both experienced players who should be ready to slide into starting spots. Woodard/Lewis/Washington should be able to replace Collin’s production. Smith should fill in nicely for Duvernay. I really don’t think Roach will be missed. He was a leader, but production wise he can be replaced. There is no excuse for next season not being very good for Texas.

Too early.

It's impossible to know until we know who is leaving at LSU, they are looking at a ton of underclassmen declaring for the draft. Even with the losses, I'm not too excited that we can beat them. They have a ton of guys on both sides of the ball that didn't play and probably would have started for us. Don't think because they lose a few guys we are going to come into this game with the most talent. That is likely not going to be the case.

Texas needs to actually develop their talent if we want any chance to win this game. This off season is going to be huge for this team, if we get the right development we have a chance, but we need total buy in by players. This remains to be seen.

Who will be their QB next year? Game two of the season, in a hyped match up, an experienced Sam Ehlinger vs a green QB for LSU could be the difference in this one.

LSU will have a new QB and Brady might be picked up as an OC in the NFL soon...if that happens I like our chances...
