I have been defending Card. Not because I think he is great, but because he had experience coming into this year. Last year he was a freshman in the first year of a new offense, so I didn't hold that against him. I know many have given up on him. Today, I will need to see him play with confidence and grit. Otherwise, I will definitely change my tune with him. If he looks lost or hesitant or indecisive, then this will begin to define him. Otherwise, Hook’em. Kick tech’s ass

He’s terrible. And Texas is a 6-7 win team with him at QB no matter how much experience he gets.

Sam’s best season saw Texas lose 4 games. In the Big 12 championship failed to see an obvious CB blitz.

i love Sam, but he didn’t have much more talent or ability than Card.

Talent is better than experience 99x out of 100
