The Texas staff hosted a baseball camp this weekend and came away with a new commit.
2025 LHP/1B Trey Morris out of Fresno, California committed to the Horns and becomes the 14 player of the outstanding 2025 class that the Horns have put together.
Trey is currently ranked as the #3 ranked player in the state of Cali for his class.
On the mound, Trey has a mid 80s fastball with good tilt and spins the CB very well with projection to add more velo.
At the plate, Trey swings the stick very well with power and efficiency. Trey definitely has a bright future with high projection at the plate and is a true two-way player.
