Texas has lost back to back games for the first time this season and they are still in the state of South Carolina to take on College of Charleston tonight and Citadel tomorrow. Texas needs to take advantage of the game tonight and the game tomorrow to get back on track and try to put behind the struggles they have recently gone through, as well as the loss of a vital piece of the pitching staff and lineup and refocus as Texas only has one more weekend left before kicking off conference on the road in Lubbock.

College of Charleston comes into the game with a 9-7 record and are 8-3 at home. On the season, they have swept Wagner, lost a tight one to a very good Clemson team, swept Sienna, beat Presbyterian, but then were swept by High Point, lost two to Penn and most recently won 2 of 3 against UMass Lowell.

Pitching Matchups:
Texas - RHP Andre Duplantier (2-0, 4.50 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, 16 IP, 10 H, 9 R, 8 ER, 7 BB and 11 K)
Charletson - RHP Trey Pooser (2-1, 1.08 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, 16.2 IP, 13 H, 7 R, 2 ER, 6 BB, 17 K)

Pooser is a 6.4" RHP Junior who has pitched in 4 games total this season, including starts again Clemson, Presbyterian and Penn. Against Clemson, he went 5 innings, gave up 5 hits, 2 runs, 1 BB and 7 Ks.
