LETTTT'SSSSS GET READY TO RUMBLE - Part Deux. The Longhorns will host the Texas State Bobcats at Disch-Falk field tonight after escaping with a 9-8 win last night down in San Marcos in what turned out to be quite a wild game. Which saw Texas take a 3-0 lead early and then capitulate 6 runs, including a grand slam. The Horns bounced back though with a 6 run inning themselves which included a big 3 run blast by Ivan. The pitching last night was not stellar, but after 4 games on the road and the late scratch of Witt on Sunday, the bullpen was understandably a bit tired. Wednesday night looks to be another bullpen game as Lucas Gordon started Sunday against UCLA.
