Well, boys I think we gonna run the 1st 3 games easy, I think the rest are up in the air, and we got a treat this year with The Mob if they come, most likely they will want to show up the Longhorn Band who probably still fiddling their puds. we will probaly start the hard stuff with Baylor...dunno how good Arky is...we will have some good EXP time we get to OU

The schedule actually sets up nicely for Sark 2021 doesn’t have that marquee non conference game we usually play. Should be able to get to at least 9 wins and build some positive momentum.

Are we sure about this order? I see the dates for the first 3 games, but all the others are TBD. You’re looking at a November date for OU, when it’s usually week 2 or 3 in October. Or maybe they are pushing it out the furthest they can for possibly increased attendance.

agreed Oldman....I saw the same thing that Stranger did and thought the same as he did....then I determined that conference games were just listed until the Big 12 gets off its ass and makes a schedule.

Didn't Louisiana just finish ranked way ahead of us? Isn't Sam Pittman improving Arkansas by leaps and bounds every day? This don't look like a layup line to me

Agreed. Louisiana is ranked 19 and we are 21 in the "Way-to-early" poll on ESPN.

I'm betting StrangerHorn is on the young side and has no recollection of our trips to Fayetteville. "Easy" is never a word you should use with Texas-Arkansas.

Well, you are wrong, I remember very clearly all of them, but, the teams are different now, both sides wasn't packed with Super talent, remember Dicus and Montgomery very clearly, they both kept at on our asses...

You made a bad bet CA!

But most of the time we won there because AR always choked at the end. Matter of fact we've 7 out of 8 there. At one time AR was one of the best jobs in the country now it's one of the worst.

Ha. Stranger is so old he knew Christ when he was a corporal.

Stranger is so old he knew rock back when it was dirt.

Stranger is so old that he remembers when the Old Testament was just called the Testament.

Stranger is so old he took his drivers test on a dinosaur.

Stranger is so old he'd seen the Dead Sea before it even got sick.

Stranger is so old his social security number is 1.

Stranger is so old that he once went to an antique store and a lady offered a 100 bucks for him.

Stranger is so old that when God said "Let there be light" stranger turned on the switch.

Stranger is so old that when he was a kid, rainbows were in black and white.

Stranger is so old his birth certificate is written in Roman numerals.

Just remember Stranger-- I believe in the words of one of the greatest comedians in the history of the world when he said "I don't know any old fools. You don't get to be old by being no fool. I know a lot of young wise men-- and they dead as a mutha fvcka..." Richard Pryor

I'm so old that I was in the mob that stopped traffic on the Drag for hours after the National Championship game w Arkie in 1969. No one I knew could make the game, but rumor had it that you had to fill up in Texarkana because Texas cars couldn't buy gas in AR. We didn't even have a tv, had to watch the game in a bar.

I think the first couple games are important for Sark. One of Herman’s biggest problems I think was he never really built positive momentum. First game ever they lay an egg at home against Maryland so right away he’s on his heels. Then they lose to USC. 2nd year again they drop one to Maryland so now your fighting up hill. I think if Sark can come out and get off to a good start that will go a long way to his success here.

Yes.

As stupid and simplistic as this sounds, when you're able to build downhill momentum, it makes life easier. Tom's biggest problem was he thought he could skate through the non-con games and focus on the conference games. He saw Maryland as beneath him. So he expected a victory. He saw LSU as a true threat-- so he prepared properly. And we gave LSU a helluva game.

Tom was a wind sock. He blew the same way the wind did. I can't place my trust in a wind sock. Those just tell me which way the wind is blowing. They are helpful only when I'm sneaking up behind my enemy.

I can't control my domain with a wind sock.
