HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO EACH OF THOSE SPECIAL WOMEN OUR LIVES!
ALWAYS WIN ON SUNDAY! What a week makes. Last Sunday, Texas was looking to avoid being swept at home and today, they are looking for a sweep on the road. The importance of a sweep today cannot be understated. The Saturday DH win yesterday brought Texas back up to an RPI of 14. A series sweep of West Virginia brings Texas that much closer to consideration for a Top 16 seed, especially with some other teams around the nation faltering. The only thing Texas can do is take care of their business and that means win, at all costs.
For those that noticed (most probably did not), I was off the board the vast majority of yesterday celebrating my son August (Augie) 3rd birthday. I was able to listen to the game (missed ya Craig Way) so I did not get to watch, but big tip of the hat to Pete and Lucas who came through in a big big way when Texas needed it most! Oh ya, that Ivan guy is pretty special as well.
