Just got to thinking about one outstanding set of facts about our program since Mack Brown showed up in 1998:
In 1998, Texas ended Nebraska's long, long home winning streak that, if memory serves, was north of 30 games (I think it might have been north of 50 games);
In 2004, Texas ended Ohio State's long home winning streak that I believe was also north of 30 games;
Last year, Texas ended a home winning streak at Alabama, and became just the third team to beat Nick Saban at Tuscaloosa;
This year, Texas ended a home winning streak at Michigan, which also came into the game with the longest streak in the nation.
Edit: Michigan, Alabama, and Ohio State rank 1,2,3 on the list of all-time winningest programs. Nebraska is #9. Wow.
To top all that off, Texas most likely just became the first team to ever win games at Michigan and at Alabama in consecutive seasons.
