Just got to thinking about one outstanding set of facts about our program since Mack Brown showed up in 1998:
  • In 1998, Texas ended Nebraska's long, long home winning streak that, if memory serves, was north of 30 games (I think it might have been north of 50 games);
  • In 2004, Texas ended Ohio State's long home winning streak that I believe was also north of 30 games;
  • Last year, Texas ended a home winning streak at Alabama, and became just the third team to beat Nick Saban at Tuscaloosa;
  • This year, Texas ended a home winning streak at Michigan, which also came into the game with the longest streak in the nation.
Edit: Michigan, Alabama, and Ohio State rank 1,2,3 on the list of all-time winningest programs. Nebraska is #9. Wow.
  • To top all that off, Texas most likely just became the first team to ever win games at Michigan and at Alabama in consecutive seasons.
That's pretty damn spiffy if you ask me.

Hook 'em!!!
