Just got to thinking about one outstanding set of facts about our program since Mack Brown showed up in 1998:
Hook 'em!!!
- In 1998, Texas ended Nebraska's long, long home winning streak that, if memory serves, was north of 30 games (I think it might have been north of 50 games);
- In 2004, Texas ended Ohio State's long home winning streak that I believe was also north of 30 games;
- Last year, Texas ended a home winning streak at Alabama, and became just the third team to beat Nick Saban at Tuscaloosa;
- This year, Texas ended a home winning streak at Michigan, which also came into the game with the longest streak in the nation.
- To top all that off, Texas most likely just became the first team to ever win games at Michigan and at Alabama in consecutive seasons.
Hook 'em!!!
