The Texas Senate continues to do the work of the people passing SB17 on a 24-7 vote. This bill prevents people and entities from China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran from buying property that is not their homestead.
I am opposed to this bill but I recognize that I can’t get everything I want. I think this bill restricts my freedoms to do as I please with my property, and it reduces the value of my property.
