It is entirely possible that Texas and aggy will win out from here to T+2. If that happens, it is likely that entering the game with them both teams will be locked in to the SEC Championship game the following week regardless of the T+2 outcome.
This is a pretty wild situation that raises real strategic questions. The second game is radically more important than the first game because a playoff bye will be on the line for both teams regardless of the outcome of the first game. If you are Sark, do you implement the same gameplan for the game in Kyle Field that you would use if it was must win? Or, do you use a watered down gameplan that hides some of your more preferred schemes against them that you will then roll out in the SEC Champ game?
As odd as it sounds, I think it is entirely possible that in this scenario both teams would roll out a watered down gameplan and even rest some players given the potential gauntlet that lie ahead with the SEC Champ game followed by potentially 3 playoff games against great teams. The game in Kyle Field could have an eerie feel that none of us have ever experienced.
