Our truly bizarre ownership of UNC basketball continues. Texas wins 92-89.
Omg I was about to choke Coleman through the screen over those free throws. Held on to win though, 92-89.
Led the entire second half.
I felt like that 4-0 record was empty due to playing nobody. Now 5-0 with a win over #7 UNC feels pretty good.
I swear we are to UNC what Kansas State used to be to us in football. No matter what we always seem to beat them.

I just said exactly this to my brother. There’s no reason we should own them like this.
Any time after we play UNC, you can head to their message boards, and there will be a dozen people saying, “Why the f*ck do we keep playing Texas?”
You're absolutely right. We have no business owning them. It's so ridiculous it's funny.

Dang, Roach is a freak of nature explosive. The dunk he had in the second half was mind blowing. You see that sort of stuff in pregame or during dunk contests but the fact that he caught a body like that during a game was nuts. Also, played probably his best game as a Longhorn.
Roach has really developed. When he’s shooting well, he’s almost unguardable. So quick and explosive off of the floor.
I have been very vocal in my displeasure with shaka. Admittedly, this is the first time I've seen them this year beyond highlights. But this group seems to play fearless defense, shoot better, attack the rim better, and most of all, they play EXTREMELY HARD. Hope it continues.
I anticipate that scoring will be much tougher this evening. Izzo's team is going to play us very differently defensively. If MSU switches on the ball screens, we're likely going to be back to cussing Shaka's offensive chops for most of the game.
Hope our defense can keep us in it enough for us to grind out an ugly win.
This will be our first loss. We don't own MSU like we do UNC. I just hope it doesn't get too ugly.
We have a chance. This could get bloody. Andrew Jones would be a great asset in this game. We are going to have to get some shooting and o rebs to go along with the scrappy defense.
