It's time for an updated look at the recruiting board. June will be pivotal with official visits coming up. We'll update this sucker again in late June or July. I'll have more detailed breakdown in the War Room tonight but some overview thoughts ...
QB - Looks like it'll be KJ Lacey and that's it unless Texas decides to make a late move with Keelon Russell.
RB - One commitment is in ... is another right around the corner?
WR - One of the tougher groups to handicap. Lots of viable options, but which ones will actually jump into the mix?
TE - One commitment and then it pretty much comes down to Kiotti Armstrong or Nick Townsend for the second spot, with Kaleb Edwards being a wildcard.
OL - Jackson Christian is in. I still like Texas for Fasusi but it's no slam dunk. A few others look good for UT as well.
DE - Lance Jackson is locked in but the next spot or two is tough to pin down.
DT - Texas NEEDS to hold onto Brandon Brown's commitment. Not a ton of other strong options aside from Zion Williams.
LB - One commitment from Bo Barnes and a couple of others who look good.
DB - Lots of options but Texas needs to start closing on some of these guys soon. Been saying it for a while, but people need to pay more attention to Caleb Chester.
