The horns have had a good season so far and it can still get better. So I'm pumped and will start the holiday weekend matchups early this week. I love thanksgiving weekend in college fb. It's the final weekend of the season and its filled with trational rivalries most of them instate. You know the flagship school against the landgrant or something like that. There are just too many to mention here. A lot of them don't have a national profile but they mean a lot to their fans. So without further adieu.

Baylor/TT Ryan Gosling Jr job is on the line. The winner gets a bowl game. I say Baylor.

MI/tOSU I don't like either school and I don't like either coach. But there's no denying its one of the greatest rivalries in college sports and its the only border state rivalry that compares to OK/TX. tOSU's defense is terrible and I'm talking Big XII terrible. MI is ranked #1 in defense. Since 2001 tOSU is 15/2 against MI. This year it swings back to MI.

MI 34
tOSU 14

ND/SC the best non com rivalry in college fb. A lot of memorable games. This will not be one of them. Sayonara Clay Helton.

ND 38
SC 21

OK/WV this is not the biggest non Texas game for me. It should have it's own thread anyway. First one to 60, that's right I said 60, wins. That or whoever has the ball last.

WA/WS THIS is the biggest non Texas game for me. Don't let the all time standings fool you this is a bitter instate rivalry much like a&m/TX. From what I understand you can't find two schools, two towns more different than this rivalry. We've already talked about Leach and his offense but their defense is ranked in the top 25. I picked WA to win the NC and but they can still win the Pac XII. They're ranked in the top 15 defensively but they don't have any difference makers. I thought Jake Browning was a top notch qb but he's really just a game manager. Everthing points in WS direction but I say the huskies score with less than a minute to play

WA 29
WS 28

And a always feel free to add other games on this thread

UW at WSU. I think WSU wins. Peterson will usually win this battle, but this year WSU has a QB that will give them the edge.

Michigan over tOSU

Tech beats Baylor

LSU at aggy: Aggy wins big at home

As much as I hate to say this I'm glad somebody else besides me thinks the cow college can beat LSU lol. The interesting thing is that if they actually beat LSU then it's a certainty that at least one 3 loss team will get into a NY6 bowl.

The negative is that all the aggies will come out of the woodwork. Which means LonghornMM is going to harder than normal lol

OU was a seven point favorite over UT in the red river massacre.

OU's best hope against WVU is that Mrs. Grier puts some extra-good lovin on Will Thursday night.

Can we get some Barry White piped into the Grier household on thanksgiving evening please?

If listening to someone like Barry White inspires WG to be romantic than he should be disqualified as a Heisman candidate asap.

I watched this game instead of OK/WV. And you know what? Even though they're only 9/3 WA plays defense. Did anyone else besides me watch this game over the Big XII? I mean they all but dared WS to run the ball and they still couldn't. That's nothing but a dink and dunk passing game. You look at the pass happy teams in the Big XII and WS doesn't have one receiver who could start for them certainly not for us. Finally Mike Leach went up against a guy who's on my top 6 list for best coaches in the country. It showed.

Well I got Baylor and WA right. I got TX right just not the final score.

But you know Jim Harbaugh has been at MI for 4 years now. Gameday is saying it's a new era at MI he will bring them back. So here he is against his arch rival with the number 1 d in the country. He's 0/3 against the buckeyes but this year is going to be different. So what happens? tOSU drops 62 and 549 on his defense. What you got to say about those little ten defenses now Gameday? MI spending all that pr money on JH image. But he will always have zero pr skills just watch he'll show his true colors. Don't be surprised if he bails and goes back to the NFL. Somebody ignorant will hire him, pay him $5 mil and realize 4 years later it was a waste of money. Just like the Niners and just like MI.

I feel like Ohio State just has it in their head now they are gonna beat Michigan every year and you can just see it in the games in the past years. This year especially it was almost like Michigan just wasn’t ready for this game. I put that on Harbaugh. He has really underachieved since he has been there in my opinion.

It doesn’t warrant its own thread, so I’ll just leave it here, aggy just choked lead to LSU.

JFC does anybody want to win this game? Lol

Isn't there limit on how many OTs they'll go to before they say f*ck it, tie?

That sure was a fun game to watch. Now the Aggies will be saying they are gonna win a natty next year because they beat a mediocre LSU team

The LSU game should have never gone to OT. On 4th down on the last drive in regulation, the aggy receiver was clearly short by a yard when he slid and they gave him a first down. It wasn't reviewed or questioned. L$U got hosed out of a win.

Well it's over in true cow college fashion, LSU gets two penalties called on them cow college has it first and 18 inches and they get a five yard penalty and then they score the winning points. How many times have I seen them win where they go backwards for 20 yards and then or of nowhere they score the winning td. Probably the best game of the year.
