The horns have had a good season so far and it can still get better. So I'm pumped and will start the holiday weekend matchups early this week. I love thanksgiving weekend in college fb. It's the final weekend of the season and its filled with trational rivalries most of them instate. You know the flagship school against the landgrant or something like that. There are just too many to mention here. A lot of them don't have a national profile but they mean a lot to their fans. So without further adieu.
Baylor/TT Ryan Gosling Jr job is on the line. The winner gets a bowl game. I say Baylor.
MI/tOSU I don't like either school and I don't like either coach. But there's no denying its one of the greatest rivalries in college sports and its the only border state rivalry that compares to OK/TX. tOSU's defense is terrible and I'm talking Big XII terrible. MI is ranked #1 in defense. Since 2001 tOSU is 15/2 against MI. This year it swings back to MI.
MI 34
tOSU 14
ND/SC the best non com rivalry in college fb. A lot of memorable games. This will not be one of them. Sayonara Clay Helton.
ND 38
SC 21
OK/WV this is not the biggest non Texas game for me. It should have it's own thread anyway. First one to 60, that's right I said 60, wins. That or whoever has the ball last.
WA/WS THIS is the biggest non Texas game for me. Don't let the all time standings fool you this is a bitter instate rivalry much like a&m/TX. From what I understand you can't find two schools, two towns more different than this rivalry. We've already talked about Leach and his offense but their defense is ranked in the top 25. I picked WA to win the NC and but they can still win the Pac XII. They're ranked in the top 15 defensively but they don't have any difference makers. I thought Jake Browning was a top notch qb but he's really just a game manager. Everthing points in WS direction but I say the huskies score with less than a minute to play
WA 29
WS 28
And a always feel free to add other games on this thread
