A few thoughts on Jamarion Miller to start things off ...

In case you missed Ketch's pinned thread, Texas RB commitment Jamarion Miller at Alabama this weekend on an official visit.

Late in the summer, Miller did take a quick unofficial visit to Oklahoma but I was quickly told by someone close to him that Texas had nothing to worry about with that visit. So far today, I haven't heard back from that same source. May not mean anything at all, especially since that person could be with Miller on the visit, but it's all quiet so far today on all fronts. Alabama is Alabama, and with this one being an official visit, it has a much different feel than Miller's quick OU trip over the summer.

A source at Miller's school did tell me today that Miller has continued to act like he's all Texas, so the visit comes as a bit of a surprise. This person has heard nothing of Miller wanting to flip his commitment, so he's a bit perplexed on the Bama visit.

From a UT perspective, you're obviously hoping this is just a case of a kid wanting to enjoy the recruiting process a bit, but it feels like this is a situation we'll need to monitor very closely. We'll obviously keep you all updated on anything we hear after Miller wraps up his visit.
