They have the secret sauce to edge out opponents. And it’s directly led to playoff success.
When Texas is at its best, they get up early relying on pass and defense. Then they sink back into the run game for the final 20 minutes to take the air out of the ball.
The problem with UGA is 1) we didn’t capitalize on our huge yard advantage with points in half one. 2) we couldn’t run the ball effectively in the second half. Then games get dangerous.
Clemson and ASU don’t have the defenses to stop our game plan. Hit him quick, and stomp them out late with physical running.
With our defense, that should be the mantra. If we can lean into that secret sauce, we should be in a dog fight with Oregon in the semis.
